Event Description:
To remember and honor the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, participating businesses in La Grange are asked to display two electric candles in their storefront windows, along with a special "La Grange Remembers" window poster, on Friday, September 10 and Saturday, September 11, according to the La Grange Business Association.
 
The two illuminated candles represent the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York that were destroyed in the terrorist attacks on that day. The window poster features a 9/11 anniversary logo that resembles the twin towers, as well.

La Grange residents are invited to display two electric candles in their windows that weekend, as well.
