American Legion Memorial Day Escort

The Illinois Rt.66 HOG Chapter will once again be escorting the American Legion post 1941 to various locations throughout the area for Memorial Day services on Memorial Day, Monday May 26th. This ride will be police escorted to 7 or 8 different local locations where the Legion will perform their Memorial Day services. We ask that you arrive about 7:30am at the American Legion parking lot to line up for the escort. Please arrive no later than 7:45am as we will be leaving promptly at 8am. Last year some locations had snacks, drinks, and restrooms available while some did not so plan accordingly. Also there is a 21 gun salute at every location so please plan accordingly if you are sensitive to gun fire. Services should end around noon and we will head back to the American Legion Hall. If there is interest we could ride somewhere for lunch afterwards. All bikes are welcome and you do not have to be a chapter member to attend. Please let us know if you will be joining us! Meet at the American Legion Post 1941 at 900 LaGrange Rd, La Grange, IL 60525. KSU will be promptly at 8:00 am after a ride and safety briefing from our Road Captain.
