An inclusive Episcopal community in La Grange, celebrating Christ’s love through worship, service, and belonging since 1874.
Emmanuel Episcopal Church in La Grange, Illinois, is an inclusive Christian community rooted in the Episcopal tradition. We are dedicated to connecting people with Christ’s love through worship, prayer, service, and creative expression.
Children’s Church is offered on the 1st and 3rd Sundays during the 10:00 a.m. service, giving young children their own meaningful space to worship and grow in faith. Throughout the year, Emmanuel also hosts musical performances, cultural events, and seasonal celebrations that enrich the spiritual and cultural life of both members and visitors.
Founded in 1874 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Emmanuel blends historic tradition with a spirit of openness and belonging. We welcome all people—regardless of race, class, gender, or sexuality—into a vibrant space for spiritual growth, fellowship, and community engagement.
