CARS Office Coordinator (Part-Time)

CARS, a nonprofit serving older adults, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Office Coordinator to
support our fast-paced, team-oriented office. This role is ideal for someone with office experience who
enjoys working with older adult clients and supporting meaningful community work.
Schedule:
• Part-time: 4 days per week, 5 hours per day
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer phones with a pleasant, patient, and professional manner
• Interact respectfully with older adult clients and community members
• Provide administrative support and general office assistance
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Create and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
• Manage multiple tasks in a busy office environment
Required Qualifications:
• Previous office experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Patience and compassion when working with older adults
• Ability to work well on a team and handle a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in senior services, nonprofit, or community-based work
• Customer service or data entry experience
Compensation & Benefits:
• $18–$20/hour, based on experience
• Matched Simple IRA
